Paddle adventure in the upper Peene valley (2 overnights)
Short break to relax
This short break on the Peene offers relaxation for the eye and soul. From your accommodation - a cozy country inn not far from the Kummerower lake - you look at the natural river valley into the green, as far as the eye can see.
The river is right on the doorstep. During this short break he invites to two individual day trips in the Canadier. You paddle at your own pace since the Peene on a 10 km stretch from Kummerower See to Anklam has virtually no current, no weirs or locks. The Kummerower See and the entire river landscape originated in the ice age. A beach on the lake invites you to linger in summer. Try the delicious fish dishes in "Aalbude". The second day tour takes you to the Hanseatic city of Demmin if you want to. There you will find traces of brick Gothic, such as the Bartholomew church or the Luisentor. This gate is the last surviving city gate of the once magnificent Hanseatic city. Both day trips begin and end in Trittelwitz and have a total tour length of about 20 km. Of course, you can make your tours shorter. In the evenings, the team from the Landhof Trittelwitz indulges you with a delicious 2-course meal during your short break. For both of the day tours, they'll provide you with a packed lunch.
